In Memory of Karen

Karen M. Kaskey, beloved mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 14, 2024.

Known for her sharp wit, boundless love, and unwavering selflessness, Karen leaves behind a legacy of laughter and compassion. Born in Chicago and raised in upstate New York, she attended Maine-Endwell High School before embarking on a remarkable career in telecommunications and secret intelligence, where her high-level security clearance was matched only by her quick thinking and resourcefulness.

Karen's heart overflowed with love, especially for her husband Greg and four children, Zach (wife Brooke) and Bethany (husband Moe), and her adored grandchildren, Henry and June. She dedicated her life to their happiness and well-being, finding joy in every moment spent with them.

A true friend to all creatures great and small, Karen's compassion for dogs knew no bounds. Her home was often filled with wagging tails and wet noses, a testament to her boundless love for animals.

In her final days, Karen found solace and comfort in the embrace of her family, residing with her son and grandchildren. Though she may have left this world, her poignant wit and unconditional love will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Karen M. Kaskey will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those who were touched by her kindness and warmth. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter in Karen's honor (Paws Atlanta).

Rest in peace, dear Karen. Your legacy of love and laughter will continue to brighten our lives for generations to come.
